In March of 1913, a group of local farmers came together with a shared belief:  they could serve their community better by working together. From that belief, McNabb Grain Company was formed. What started as a small operation has grown into a farmer-owned cooperative built on trust, fairness and shared success.

Through changing markets, evolving technology, and generations of producers, McNabb Grain has remained steady. Our 100 – year milestone in 2013 reflected not just time in business, but decades of partnerships built harvest after harvest.

We are a one site facility located in McNabb, Illinois. We serve Putnam County and the surrounding counties and communities. We focus strictly on grain, handling corn and soybeans and providing services that include drying, storage, marketing assistance and direct ship coordination to river terminals and processors.

Our facility has grown over the years to include more than 6 million bushels of storage capacity and five dump pits designed to keep trucks moving. We work hard on the facility to enhance efficiency! We do our best to keep lines short and trucks moving in and out quickly.

McNabb Grain has always been about more than bushels. It is about relationships built over conversations, harvest seasons and decades of partnership. We have returned a lot of money to our members in the form of patronage. It’s about doing business with integrity and planning for the next generation.
